Service Coverage
For mobile service in Houston and surrounding areas, contact AAR Auto Glass to confirm availability, scheduling and any applicable charges for your location.
Start with your vehicle’s year, make, model and complete VIN, the damaged glass and the address where you want service. Call 832-303-0318 or email info@aarautoglass.com. AAR serves Houston and surrounding areas; we’ll confirm coverage, the work required and an appointment before you make plans. Our business address is 7 Switchbud Place, Spring, TX 77380. Service is by appointment, with no walk-ins.
At the agreed location, the technician removes the damaged windshield, prepares the bonding surfaces and installs the replacement with the specified automotive-glass adhesive system. Cleanup and aftercare instructions follow. Plan for the technician’s safe drive-away time and any manufacturer-required ADAS calibration before the vehicle returns to use.
The installation itself usually takes about 30–45 minutes. That estimate does not include the safe drive-away waiting period or any required ADAS calibration. Schedule your next trip around the release time the technician gives you, rather than the installation estimate.
Do not drive or move your vehicle until the safe drive-away time provided by your technician has passed. This is based on the Dow U-428 Plus adhesive manufacturer’s temperature and humidity requirements.
Tell us about windshield cameras, rain sensors and other built-in features, and provide the complete VIN. We’ll review the glass that fits your vehicle and confirm available OEM, OEE or other aftermarket choices before booking. Installation uses the specified automotive-glass adhesive system; availability of a particular glass option must be confirmed.
The vehicle, glass specifications, service address and any required ADAS calibration determine the work to quote. Contact AAR with those details and ask which payment methods and arrangements apply to your appointment. Confirm the total and any location-related charge before scheduling; a general price should not replace a vehicle-specific quote.
Broken glass does not, by itself, identify which window component failed. An auto mechanic must diagnose the problem if the cause is unknown. AAR does not diagnose faults, sell parts, shop for parts or pick them up. Once you have bought the correct regulator, our customer-supplied regulator installation is $145 with free mobile service.
We work to remove as much broken glass as accessible areas allow, using travel vacuums. Reinforcements inside a door can leave areas beyond reach, and the carpet may need further vacuuming with commercial equipment. Do not count on fragments escaping through door drains. If you use a car-wash vacuum, first observe the separate drive-away and car-wash waiting periods.
Keep your receipt and contact AAR about a possible installation concern. The replacement terms are:
Use the technician’s release time for your first trip, then follow these additional AAR precautions. The 24-hour and 48-hour precautions do not replace the initial safe drive-away wait.
Let AAR know about new wind noise or a suspected air or water leak after replacement so the concern can be reviewed. Keep the retention tape in place for at least 24 hours and follow the technician’s release and aftercare instructions. Tape may be involved, but it should not be assumed to explain every noise or leak.
For a vehicle with a windshield-mounted ADAS camera, calibration may be required by the manufacturer after replacement. The procedure and whether mobile service is suitable depend on the vehicle’s repair instructions. The absence of warning lights does not establish that calibration is unnecessary. AAR offers mobile ADAS camera recalibration for $250 on applicable vehicles; provide the year, make, model and complete VIN so the requirements can be confirmed.
